There is something about this time of year.... as spring heads towards summer that I really find uplifting.

The sudden burst of colour that the daffodils and crocus flowers provided a few weeks ago, giving way to the blossom of the fruit trees which seems to light up the garden somehow.

There is also something quite magical .. on a blustery spring night with a bright moon .. stood in the orchard watching the blossom petals fall like a snow flurry as they catch the light from the moon as they fall.

No... I've not been drinking! .. Can't a man marvel at the wonders of nature without his friends assuming he's been at the vodka?? ;)

No.. I thought not.
