We had a nice lunch and then went for a wander round the city centre... a trip to find some Snoopy-esque items that he wanted to look at again in the Urbis shop..( www.urbis.org.uk ) which oddly looked...er.. well NOTHING like Snoopy - no matter how much John attempted to squash said animal into a more recognisable shape. ;-)
We then took a ride on Manchester's new "London eye" rip off ... Some very interesting views of the air conditioning units on top of Selfridges awaited us. No actually it was quite good... an interesting experience.. but not one I'd rush to repeat too quickly.
I only had my phone cam with me.. but the pictures came out relatively well I guess.
