If you go down to the woods...

Well making the most of semi decent weather on Sunday afternoon, and both finding ourselves short of something to do, Paul and I went for a walk exploring the local(ish) countryside.

First a nearby deer park and then a country park which had some rather interesting residents.



















Not quite sure what it's meant to be.. "Old man of the woods: holding his acorns" ...or some such. And then of course...there was the carving as well ;) Sorry Paul. :)
