Time Team, a programme on CH4 about digging things up (of an old and possibly interesting nature) and hosted by Tony "turnip" Robinson, has returned for a bank holiday type special thingamy.
He is usually surrounded by middle aged men with big beards and multi coloured jumpers. ( no, not Noel Edmonds... he was dug up sometime last year, also by Ch4 oddly enough.. tho possibly not with a JCB)

They are VERY NEATLY digging up bits of the grounds of 3 royal castles to
see if they can find some old walls and bits of plaster. I assume they will have to put everything back exactly where they found it.. or else the head of Ch4 will be locked in the Tower. Now there's public service broadcasting.
