Time off work.. and headed to Wales to see Mike and Ben. The weather was very kind on Saturday... and so we went on the Welsh Highland Railway.. as their website says a "12-mile journey from our main station in Caernarfon, overlooked by the magnificent castle, to the village of Rhyd Ddu nestling 650 feet above sea level on the slopes of Snowdon" http://www.welshhighlandrailway.net/index.asp
Strange sights No: 63 : A microwave in a field of sheep
It was on this journey that I noticed... in a field of sheep, near the fence, a microwave oven.. under a large piece of slate! Bizarre wasn't the word... (everyone knows that 'Greece is the word' anyway;) )...it hadn't just been dumped there... it had been neatly placed.. which the slate on top. The question "why?" springs immediately to mind. Answers on a postcard or a sealed down envelope to the usual address please.
