Anyway embracing the November tradition of celebrating when a bearded catholic was thwarted in his attempt to blow up parliament 400 years ago... some friends came round last night to enjoy a rather lacklustre firework display in my garden.
We also ate a large number of sausages ( amongst other things) ... so fireworks (bangers) and sausages (also bangers)... that explains part of this post's title.... and as for the rest of it... think of an obscure and rather geeky Eurovision song contest reference.... ..(feel free to groan at the appalling humour when you get the pun) .. and that brings me on to the second part of the evening... we played Sing star on the PS2.
Let's just say... it was interesting. I can't remember too much about it because I was still in shock from Ben agreeing to join in for the first time. I murdered a couple of "classics" .. I don't think "Imagine" or "Starman" will ever sound the same again:) Still another good evening. They should bring out an ABBA singstar... ;)
